Led by Giel Hendricks, Founder and CEO of Toxys, this session explores how human-relevant non-animal methods (NAMs) can support cosmetic ingredient safety assessment under the EU animal testing ban. The presentation provides an overview of Toxys’ in vitro assay platform—ToxTracker®, ReproTracker®, and ToxProfiler®—and demonstrates, through case studies, how these mechanism-based assays generate transparent, biologically meaningful data that can be integrated into weight-of-evidence approaches to support read-across, address data gaps, and reduce uncertainty in Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSRs).
