Zoran Gavrić is the Scientific Director of ERPA and founder of The Regulatory Company (TRC), a consultancy specialized in regulatory compliance, toxicology and chemical risk assessment. With more than two decades of experience spanning government, industry, and academia, he has dedicated his career to bridging science, regulation, and innovation in product safety.

After obtaining his MSc in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2002, with a thesis in Molecular and Cellular Toxicology, Zoran began his career within the Dutch Governmental Traineeship program, gaining expertise in regulatory toxicology across occupational safety, consumer product safety, and chemical risk assessment. Motivated by a strong interest in practical and applied toxicology, he later joined the private sector as a Safety Assessor before founding The Regulatory Company in 2008.

At TRC, Zoran leads efforts to support global industry partners in ensuring the safety and compliance of cosmetics and personal care products. He also developed PRIMS (Product Regulatory Information Management and Safety), an innovative software platform integrating compliance, safety assessment, and dossier management for cosmetic products.

Since 2013, he has contributed to academic education as coordinator and lecturer of the master course Regulatory Toxicology – Advanced NAMs for Chemical Safety Assessment, focusing on the practical application of NAMs in regulatory safety evaluations.

As ERPA’s Scientific Director and Chair of the ERPA Summit, Zoran is committed to fostering collaboration among regulators, scientists, and industry stakeholders, advancing the adoption of innovative, science-based, and human-relevant approaches to chemical and product safety.
