Easy to Reach. Hard to Leave.
The 11th ERPA Annual Summit takes place at Divani Palace Acropolis, in the heart of Athens and just steps from some of the city’s most recognizable historic landmarks.
Athens International Airport is approximately 25 km from the hotel. Metro Line 3 connects the airport with central Athens, with connections to Line 2 for the Acropolis area. Airport buses and taxis are also available. Once you arrive, much of historic Athens is within easy reach. The Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Plaka, Thiseio and central Athens can all be explored from the hotel area on foot.
The Summit, networking, exhibition and attendee accommodation are all centered at the host hotel, making it easy to move between sessions, meetings and the surrounding city. The hotel is situated in the Acropolis area and specifically positions itself as being in the shadow of the Acropolis.

Why you should attend
From Test Result to Compliance Decision

Clarify who is responsible when testing drives a decision
Explore how responsibilities are shared between Responsible Persons, Safety Assessors, laboratories, manufacturers, suppliers and authorities—from commissioning a test through to interpreting the result and defending the final decision.

Connect scientific evidence with regulatory expectations
Examine how microbiological and analytical testing feeds into safety assessment, product substantiation, inspection readiness and market surveillance—and what happens when results are borderline, incomplete or unexpected.

Build smarter, proportionate testing strategies
Discuss when testing is necessary, useful, excessive or insufficient, and how risk-based thinking can lead to better evidence and stronger compliance outcomes.
Whether you are responsible for placing products on the market, assessing their safety, generating laboratory evidence, manufacturing products, advising clients or enforcing cosmetics regulation:
ERPA is where the people behind those decisions come together.
